An artist book based on the book The Birth of the Pill, based on Margaret Sanger and the people who were important in her quest for accessible, affordable, and effective birth control.
The book has quotes from a text the Catholic Church released in the 1900s on the right (green panel), and Sanger's counteracting viewpoint on the left (yellow panel). The hyper-sexualized and domesticated female images were taken from advertisements in the 1940s-50s, the time period where birth control started being advertised and passed by the FDA.
